Event Center Arena

The Event Center Arena holds 4,600 people for basketball, and more than 6,500 people for concerts. It has hosted events such as Bruce Springsteen, Prince, Sting, Faith Hill. Sporting events include the SJSU Spartan Men's and Women's Basketball teams, and 2008 Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships.

Location: The Event Center is located on the corner of South 7th and San Carlos streets, it features a 6,500 seat Arena for sporting events and concerts, a full service Box Office, and a Sports Club with a fully equipped fitness center.

Sport Club Fitness Center consists of a fitness room equipped with free weights, Cybex machines, Stairmasters, Lifecycles, treadmills, and rowing machines. There is also an aerobics room and mini-gym for open basketball and volleyball. Lockers and shower facilities are provided. The Sports Club is free to regular students. Purchased memberships are available to faculty/staff, and community members.

The Event Center Box Office The Box office handles tickets for all Event Center Arena events. Tickets and transit passes are also available. Check the marquee for upcoming events as you pass by.
